What is gelato?
Florentine chef Bernardo Buontalenti is thought to have invented what is now the modern ice-cream back in 1565. Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream, but, what sets it apart from your every day ice cream is that it is made with less fat than ordinary ice cream
How is it made?
Our gelato is made using fresh milk, double cream and sugar. Flavoured with fresh fruit purees, cocoa and nut pastes that give it it’s rich flavours and colours.
Why is ours better?
At Spaghetti John’s we are especially proud of our gelato because we make every scoop of it right here on the premises, every day – guaranteeing a fresh scoop every time.
Some products may vary slightly, and ingredients and flavours may change occasionally.
